David Solá-Del Valle, M.D.

Dr. David Solá-Del Valle joined Chittick Eye Care as a board-certified glaucoma and cataract specialist in February of 2024.

Dr. David Solá-Del Valle (Dr. Solá), a board-certied ophthalmologist, is excited to join Chittick Eye Care as Chief Medical Ocer. He graduated at the top of his class from Harvard undergrad and Columbia Medical School. He then completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at Harvard, where he received the Heed Fellowship as one of the top residents in the US. He completed glaucoma fellowship at Bascom Palmer which is ranked as the #1 eye institute in the U.S.

With over 7 years of experience, Dr. Solá served as an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School contributing to the education of trainees from all over the world. His clinical research in glaucoma and cataracts resulted in 40+ peer-reviewed publications and lectures worldwide. He's uent in French, Italian, and Spanish allowing him to serve a diverse patient population.
