  • Dr. Mark Pellegrini

    Optometrist Dr. Pellegrini graduated with honors from Indiana University, School of Optometry in 1984. He moved to Danville a year later and has practiced in and around the community all of his professional life. Dr. Pellegrini chose to join Chittick Family Eye Care in the fall of 2001. In addition to his optometry practice he has responsibility for ongoing training of our Optometric Assistant staff. Dr. Pellegrini is currently a member of the American Optometric Association. He is a member St. Paul Catholic Church and is an avid Notre Dame fan. His wife, Sue and their children live in Danville.

  • Dr. James Kelley

    Optometrist Dr. Kelley attended Robinson High School in 1979 and attended Eastern IL Univeristy for 2 years for his pre-optometry studies. Thereafter he attended Indiana University in Bloomington IN where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1985. Dr. Kelley practiced in Danville from 1986 to 1998, then left to become part owner of an optometry practice in Indianpolis. In June 2005, Dr. Kelley and his family returned to the Danville community when he joined the Doctors of Chittick Family Eye Care. Dr. Kelley is a member of the AOA and on the medical staff of Provena USMC as a Limited License Practitioner.

  • Dr. Jim Lohrberg

    Optometrist Dr. Jim Lohrberg was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska where he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and obtained his Bachelors degree in Life Sciences. He and his wife Lori from Blue Mound, Illinois met in Nebraska where he worked as a chemist in the Food Science Department of UNL. He received his Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University. After a year of private practice in Quincy he practiced in an Ophthalmology/Optometry practice in Danville for 22 years. He took leave to practice in Springfield for one year and returns to Danville where he and Lori have raised 3 children. Dr. Lohrberg pursued and obtained the designation Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry through the presentation of several case reports and oral examination by a group of distinguished colleagues. Locally Dr. Lohrberg has been honored to serve as President of Danville Sunrise Rotary and is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow. He has served on the Illiana Alzheimer’s Fund and the Board of the Danville Family YMCA. He enjoys singing in the choir at St. James United Methodist Church. “I have been overwhelmed by the warm welcome I have received upon my return to Danville. I am extremely honored to join Chittick Family Eye Care and it’s growing team of respected professionals in East-Central Illinois.”
